In the Nationwide league Nairobi region, Comras followed up last weekend’s 23-19 win over Impala III with a 39-29 win over SportPesa Quins III, in the process completing victories over the two Ngong Road sides.
Impala III bounced back from last weekend’s loss to Comras with an emphatic 88-0 blitzkrieg of Masaku.
Three matches were played in the Central region and they produced three home defeats for Dedan Kimathi who were edged 13-9 by Zetech, Nanyuki Jackals who were put to the sword after going down 43-19 to Kiambu and Murang’a who were shut out by a Chuka side that defeated them 26-0. The fourth fixture between Embu and Karatina didn’t take off, Embu benefitting from the 24-0 walk over after Karatina’s no-show.
