Eight teams remain in contention for the Nationwide league’s two available promotion slots to the Kenya Cup at the close of the season on March 14th.

These teams will be in action in the national quarterfinal fixtures set for Saturday 28 February across the country.

Former Kenya Cup side Kisumu RFC who topped the Western Regional League are at home to Central Regional League winners Thika RFC at the Kisumu Showground. Kisumu were relegated from the Kenya Cup at the close of the 2013/14 season and are intent on making a maiden appearance in the country’s top tier but must first overcome the challenge they face in the form of Kisumu.

Rift Valley Regional League winners Egerton Wasps, losing Nationwide league finalists during the 2012/13 season are drawn at home to Nairobi runners up Technical University of Kenya while Coast Regional League winners South Coast Pirates play Western runners up Bungoma Sharks in Ukunda.

Nairobi Regional League winners, Impala III host another former Kenya Cup side Eldoret RFC at the Impala Club. Eldoret RFC, who placed third overall in the Rift Valley Regional league replaced University of Eldoret who are unable to honor this tie due to logistical challenges.

South Coast Pirates v Bungoma Sharks, 3.00pm, Ukunda

Egerton Wasps v TUK, 3.00pm, Njoro

Kisumu RFC v Thika RFC, 3.00pm, Mamboleo Showground, Kisumu
