The Kenya Cup resumes this weekend after a one week hiatus for the Great Rift 10s. Nairobi’s Strathmore University Grounds in Madaraka, fondly refered to as “The Cage” will without a doubt play host to the biggest  fixtures on match day seventeen. These matches are hot, big question is , will they be as hot as the three suns currently camped over Nairobi skies?

Champions KCB host playoff chasing Mwamba in the early kick, paving way for the Pan Africa Strathmore Leos-Top Fry Nakuru clash at 4.00pm. The outcomes from these encounters will certainly have an impact in the race to make the Top Six playoffs.

The second double header takes place at the Kakamega High School in Kakamega. Hosts Western Bulls play Thika in the early kickoff, setting the pace for a potentially exciting match between playoff hopefuls Kabras Sugar and table toppers Resolution Impala Saracens.

Other matches on the day will see Kenya Harlequin host bottom of the table Kenya Sharks, Nondescripts are up against Kenyatta University’s Blak Blad while Menengai Cream Homeboyz play Mean Machine.
