Western Bulls are at home to Mwamba in Kenya Cup match day nine action. They head into this fixture off a 29-19 come from behind victory away to Mean Machine on match day eight and will need to again show that same strength of character if they are to avenge the 10-55 loss to their visitors on November 26.

Howard Okwemba’s charges head into this fixture minus Erastus Wanyama who is currently serving a four match ban but still have sufficient manpower in the form of the returning Derek Ekurutu, play maker Evin Asena and Duncan Abuyeka to ask questions of Mwamba.

Mwamba were on the wrong end of a 37-32 loss to champions Kabras Sugar on match day and will look to bounce back in Kakamega by pulling off the league double against their hosts. Humphrey Kayange’s experience and leadership coupled will be critical in the forwards while Brad Owako and Lavin Asego will be the men to stir things up in the Mwamba backs.
