Homeboyz-in-semis

Homeboyz have released their squad for the Kenya Cup match day four encounter away to Total Nondies on Friday evening.
The deejays come into this match minus Mike Wanjala, Leonard Mugaisi,Bush Mwale and Oscar Ayodi who are all away with the Kenya Sevens team doing duty at the Dubai Sevens.

In their absence, Head Coach Pau Murunga has handed a first start of the season to scrum half Paul Regei, preferring him to Kelvin Masai who struggled to assert himself during the side’s last outing, a 25-17 win over Western Bulls on November 22. Kevin Ochami slots in at outside center in Ayodi’s absence, partnering Max Kang’eri in midfield. Ian Omondi takes up Mwale’s position on the wing while Bob Waga comes in at fullback for Mugaisi.

Murunga has also relegated Andrew Wekesa and Humphrey Mulama to the bench while deploying lock Davies Kanianga at openside flank.

Homeboyz are currently placed 7th on the log with 9 points off two wins and a defeat and will look to sustain their push for playoff qualification at the close of the league phase of the competition in February.
