Menengai Cream Homeboyz have claimed their first ever Kenya Cup win over KCB, posting a 27-22 win over the bankers in Kenya Cup action at the RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 30 January 2016.

Andrew Chogo opened the scoring for the deejays, his try converted by former KCB fly half Haroun Lubisia for a 7-0 lead but Elly Mukaizi soon scored off a rolling maul,  Kenny Andola converting to tie the game at 7-7. Joshua Chisanga then touched down to give Homeboyz a 12-7 lead.

Joshua Chisanga would then barge over the chalk as Homeboyz  took a 12-7 lead. A high tackle on Leonard Mugaisi saw referee Mwangi Karimi penalize KCB, Lubisia drilling the ball between the sticks to give the deejays a 15-7 lead at halftime.

Andola would then make a message of his penalty kick into touch, gifting Alvin Otieno possession. Otieno would race clear as Homeboyz extended their lead to 20-7.

Darwin Mukidza touched down for KCB to bring the scores to 20-12 but Chogo landed his brace, Lubisia converting as Homeboyz now led 27-12. Felix Wanjala would slot home a drop goal to bring the score to 27-15 before former Kenya U19 international Francis Mwita went over, Mukidza converting as the game ended 27-22 to the deejays.s.
