A former Kenya fifteens international, “Stooge” , as he was fondly referred to, spent almost his entire career at KCB, joining the team in 1994 via a stint at the now defunct StanChart RFC upon completion of his secondary education at Kakamega High School in 1993.

He was an affable, easy going character off the pitch but an aggressive, hard running front row on it,  going on to achieve success as part of the KCB side that won three Kenya Cup titles between 2005 and 2007. He also tasted success in the Enterprise Cup and Impala Floodlit as well as the Rugby Super Series as part of the Lions franchise that won the 2008 edition of the tournament with a 33-9 final win over Rhinos.

“Stooge” also played for Kenya between 2004 and 2008,the Elgon Cup another feather to his cap.
