Top Fry Nakuru posted a 24-12 bonus point victory over Mwamba in match day nine action at the Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday. 

This result saw Nakuru end Mwamba’s recent domination in this fixture and more importantly consolidated their lead atop the standings.

Mike Okombe and Leslie Ochieng scored two unconverted tries to see the hosts go 10-0 up before Shaban Ahmed landed for Mwamba as the scores read 10-5 at the break.

Victor Shigoli would score Nakuru’s third try after the break, Martin Muita converting to see them go 17-5 up  before Edwin Okemwa scored the hosts’ bonus point try, Muita converting for a 24-5 lead.

Chris Asego would convert elder brother Lavin’s consolation try for Mwamba at the death.
