Saturday’s Kenya Cup semi final between KCB and Pan Africa Strathmore Leos will double up as a memorial clash in honor of former KCB flanker Anthony “Junior” Ochino who passed away on 5th March 2014.
At stake will be the Anthony Ochino Memorial trophy which will be awarded to the winning side. There will be a similar trophy award before the Eric Shirley Shield semi final between KCB II and Kabras II at the same venue.
Ochino was a one club man, joining KCB from Lenana School in 1999, establishing himself as a core member of the KCB sides won the Kenya Cup three years in succession between 2005 and 2007.
