KCB’s Elphas Otieno has escaped further sanction after being red carded during his side’s 53-7 Enterprise Cup quarterfinal win over Stanbic Mwamba at the KCB Sports Club on Saturday 21 April 2018.
A hearing of the Independent Judicial Panel presided by Willy Ombisi on Wednesday 25 April 2018 noted, ” on considering the evidence (video review),medical reports and mitigating circumstances, the decision of the panel is
- The red card stands
- No further sanction after the card.
- Player free to resume playing.”
The decision makes Otieno available for selection for KCB’s Enterprise Cup semifinal against Menengai Cream Homeboyz on Saturday 28 April 2018.
