Third placed KCB host Total Nondies at the Lions Den in Ruaraka on Saturday 10 January 2015.

The bankers come into this match with six wins from six outings, same as leaders Pan Africa Strathmore Leos and second placed Top Fry Nakuru but bogged down by an inferior bonus point count that sees them two points behind the Leos and one behind Nakuru.

They have dominated the former multiple Kenya Cup champions in recent times and will look to extend that dominance on Saturday as they seek to secure playoff qualification at the earliest opportune time.

Curtis Olago is without Brian Sagara who was injured in their last outing away to Western Bulls on 20th December last year but he can still count on the likes of John Ahenda, Elly Mukaizi, Darwin Mukidza and company to keep his side on the victory trail.

Nondies boast an impressive 17 Kenya Cup titles to their name but haven’t laid a hand on the trophy since the 1998 season. They currently lie eighth on the log with two wins and four losses from their six outings to date.

It will take a massive effort from the red lion to turn their season around if they are to at least challenge for a playoff berth at the close of the league phase.

Kanyi Gitonga will look to Joseph Wachira, the evergreen duo of Ben Nyambu and Charles Kanyi to take the game to the bankers and emerge with a positive result at the close of business on Saturday evening.
