kenya cup machine v quins

A 33-5 win over home team Mean Machine on Saturday afternoon propelled Lunch Bar Quins to second place on the Kenya Cup standings.

This match played at the University of Nairobi grounds saw the visitors take the lead right from kick off, Patrice Agunda breaking through feeble Machine tackling in the middle of the park to play in Paul Abuto who went over, Kevin Keegan duly converting for a 7-0 lead.

Brian Wandera would extend their lead courtesy of an unconverted try before Isaac Adimo slotted home a drop goal, Quins leading 15-0.
Daniel Mubea landed for the hosts, cutting the deficit to 15-5 heading into half time.

Quins would prove the more dominant side in the second half, Keegan extending their lead with a penalty before scoring three unconverted tries courtesy of David Ahawo, Dennis Muhanji and Keegan’s wonder try to claim the bonus point win that sees them second with 10 points, same as leaders Strathmore but with an inferior goal difference.
