Redemption seeking KCB are up against playoff chasing Nondescripts in Kenya Cup match day 14 action at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka on Saturday 4 March 2017.
It will be recalled that leaders KCB had their 11 match unbeaten run stopped by a Menengai Cream Homeboyz outfit that defeated them 33-24 at the same venue on 18 February and while securing direct passage to the Kenya Cup semis by way of a top two finish at the close of the regular season, there is still the small matter of seeking redemption from that loss by way of a win over a Nondies side that despite sitting eighth, harbors playoff qualification hopes.
Close season signing Shaban Ahmed once again starts at flyhalf with former international Felix Wanjala making a rare start at scrumhalf.
Nondies will field a backline that is teeming with the collective experience of Charles Kanyi, Biko Adema and Kevin Gachoka with former Kabras man James Odong starting at fullback.
