It goes without saying that the KCB- Resolution Impala Saracens duel is the match of the day on Saturday 12 March 2016 at the Impala Club.

This is KCB’s home game, this stemming from the fact that their Ruaraka home venue has been dug up for rehabilitation, but that is the least  important of details heading into this Kenya Cup match day 15 encounter.

Now, to some more meaty details, KCB, the defending champions, lie second on the log, five points adrift of their visitors, the Sarries.

It was just a matter of time before we used the tried and tested “top of the table”
cliche to describe this fixture..well..that’s what it is…the top of the table clash.

KCB stuttered in the current campaign, winning laboriously, losing incomprehensibly but have looked sharp in bouncing back from that 22-27 loss to Menengai Cream Homeboyz, playing with a zeal and focus that has seen them rise to second on the log. A win, a bonus point win for that matter will see the bankers draw level on points with the Sarries.(It would
take an improbable 138-0 win to see KCB go top)

The Sarries have on the other hand, been consistent, and imperious. Is it any wonder that they sit pretty atop the standings? No,it isn’t.

They have, with the exception of the two losses to Quins, swept away the opposition they have faced thus far, blitzing them, digging deep, or grinding out results whenever the need has arisen. Their all round versatility has worked for them thus far but will be put under the KCB microscope on Saturday.

This match will be live on your favorite rugby related whatsapp groups and various social media platforms.
