Wanyore hit Nondies to stay top

Top Fry Nakuru stayed top of the Kenya Cup log with a 31-12 win away to Total Nondies at the RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 28 November 2015.

Edwins Makori created space for Gramwell Bunyasi who raced clear to score Nakuru’s opening try, Martin Muita missing the conversion Geoff Ominde took over the kicking duty,before converting Edwins Makori’s try.

Nondies scrum half Charles Kanyi would miss a straightforward goal attempt from a penalty but made no mistake in converting Raymond Kidiga’s try as the hosts wnet into the half time break¬†trailing by five points, the scores 12-7 in Nakuru’s favour.

Philip Kwame would extend Nakuru’s lead upon the restart, barging over after winning the line out ball deep in Nondies territory.

Muita would then convert Martin Owila and Edwin Okwema’s tries before the evergreen Ben Nyambu grabbed a consolation try for Nondies, referee Constant Cap soon sounding his whistle for full time as the Wanyore stayed top of the summit by way of a second bonus point win.
