Kenya Sevens skipper Andrew Amonde starts at blindside as champions KCB named their line up for Saturday’s Enterprise Cup final against Kabras Sugar at the RFUEA Ground.
Champions KCB sailed to their fourth successive Enterprise Cup final since 2014 after beating Homeboyz RFC 11-9 in a match played at the Ruaraka grounds in 20th May. They will have to overcome Kabras Sugar at the RFUEA on Saturday 27 May 2017 if they are to claim a third successive title and complete the season’s double, having already claimed the Kenya Cup at this venue on 22 April.
Impala’s George Okowa missed a last gasp penalty to hand hosts Kabras Sugar a second successive Enterprise Cup final berth with a 16-15 semifinal win over gritty Resolution Impala Saracens at the Kakamega Showground on Saturday 20 May 2017.
Kabras Sugar, beaten finalists last year, face Resolution Impala Saracens in Enterprise Cup semifinal action at the Kakamega Showground. The sugarmen, who relinquished their Kenya Cup in that 8-36 loss to KCB slightly under a month ago, will look to march to the cup final and will count on their recent home dominance over their visitors, as well as the wet condition to establish a stranglehold on the game. They began their campaign with a 50-11 quarterfinal win over Nondescripts last weekend.
