As the Kenya Cup heads into match day ten of the regular season with just two fixtures left before the playoffs, the race for the top individual honours is taking shape. Alvin Khavoli of Menengai Oilers leads the try scoring charts with 12 tries so far this campaign. He is closely followed by Patrick Lumumba of Kabras RFC who has crossed the whitewash 10 times, an impressive return for a backrow . In joint third place are Jeanson Misoga and Daniel Kipchirchir with nine tries apiece. The top five is rounded off by a three way tie between Roy Maruti, Eric Cantona both of Kabras RFC, and Felix Okoth of Nakuru RFC who each have eight tries to their name.
In the points scoring standings, Eric Cantona sits comfortably at the summit with 116 points to date. A sizeable gap separates him from second placed Brian Wahinya who has accumulated 92 points. Enock Oduor of KU Blak Blad occupies third position with 83 points, while Timothy Omela is fourth on 72 points. His teammate Abutwalib Wesonga completes the top five with 66 points .
