EnterpriseCup: It’s a Homeboyz- Impala Final

Menengai Cream Homeboyz secured a finals slot after edging out the defending Champions KCB RC 12-10 at the KCB Sports Club. Polycarp Odhiambo was first on the scoreboard as he landed a try for the DJz with Johnstone Olindi adding the extras.  With 10 minutes to play, Alvin Otieno landed Hombeoyz’ second try with the conversion sailing wide, the hosts bounced back into the game as Shaban Ahmed drilled in a penalty  that was quickly followed by a well worked try by winger Michael Kimwele. Kimwele then offloaded to Ahmed who dotted down the ball and added the extras narrowing the gap to 12-10

Second half, both teams missed a penalty kick each denying them any extra points. An infringement by the hosts denied them an opportunity to secure the win as they could not penetrate through the Homeboyz defense.

Menengai Cream Homeboyz will meet Resolution Impala Saracens in the final as the Sarries came from a 10-13 half time score to bag their first away in Kakamega as they beat Kabras 15-10.

The final will be played at the RFUEA Grounds on Saturday 5th May.
