The Administration Police Warriors broke Daystar Falcons’ unbeaten record as action continued in the Nationwide regional leagues across the country. The AP Warriors won this Nairobi region universities fixture 28-15.
Other fixtures in this category saw Co-operative defeat Strathmore II 25-10 as MKU Nairobi defeated KCA 36-3. The match between TUK and Multimedia was a tight affair that ended 25-19 to TUK.
Action in the Nairobi region clubs category saw Hurricanes post a 22-5 victory over Stormers while Dagoretti Bulldogs won on the road, defeating hosts Masaku 8-3 in Machakos. Ngong subjected COMRAS to a 66-16 whitewah while leaders Swara and Shamas won big, Swara defeating Stingers 55-3 while Shamas stopped Vandals 56-5.
CENTRAL REGION
Zetech were the beneficiaries of a 28-0 walkover against Thika while Meru won a tough fixture on the road, defeating Nanyuki 11-7. JKUAT Cougars stopped Murang’a 27-7 as Kiambu defeated MKU Thika 9-5. Chuka were 21-14 winners over Embu.
RIFT VALLEY
Only two matches took off, that was the Kabarak- Nandi fixture which ended 10-3 to Kabarak and the MAVU- Molo clash that ended 20-0 to Molo.
Moi University and Kitale were the beneficiaries of 28-0 walkovers against Nakuru KITI and Laikipia respectively.
WESTERN
MMUST II won their home tie against Webuye, defeating the visitors 18-3 in Kakamega as Maseno posted a 32-3 victory over Siaya. CITAM Kisumu won on the road, stopping Bungoma 27-3 in Bungoma.
Vihiga Granites and Jaramogi benefitted from 28-0 walkovers following the non-appearance of Shieywe and Mbale respectively.
