The Nationwide league entered the quarterfinal playoffs on Saturday.
In Nairobi, MKU Nairobi beat Hurricanes 14-8 to confirm their semifinal slot against the Daystar Falcons who shut Swara out of the semis with a 20-12 win. The second semifinal pits Shamas Rugby Foundation against the Administration Police. Shamas beat Cooperative University Farus 27-7 while a 21-11 AP win over the Dagoretti Bulldogs secured their spot in the semis.
All hosts in Central regions were victorious in the quarterfinals; JKUAT beat Nanyuki Jackals 27-3, Kiambu hosted Chuka and beat them 29-3, Embu RFC beat Zetech 14-5 while MKU Thika was awarded a walkover as Meru failed to honour the fixture.
In the Rift Valley Region, Kitale RFC, Kabarak RFC, Moi University and Molo RFC all progressed to the semifinals with wins over their opponents KPA Eldoret, Nakuru KITI, Laikipia and Nandi respectively.

CITAM Kisumu registered the biggest win of the weekend beating Mbale RFC 51 – 0, Maseno was awarded a walkover over Webuye who were unable to honour the fixture. Bungoma RFC narrowly beat Masinde Muliro II 10-6 as Jaramogi beat Vihiga 6-3.
In the Coast region, the Technical University of Mombasa beat South Coast Buccaneers 30-0 while Malindi beat Shepherds 28-0.
