Match day seven fixtures across the Kenya Cup, KRU Championship, Nationwide and Eric Shirley set for Saturday 17 December 2016 have been postponed to a later date following the untimely death of Mwamba scrumhalf Victor Wayodi in match day six action on Saturday 10 December 2016.
A statement from the Kenya Rugby Union reads in part, ” With his death coming barely a week after the loss of Nondies center Ogeto Gecheo, the Kenya Rugby Union has in the interim postponed all league fixtures until January 2017 as it sets in place processes to understand the circumstances leading to the deaths of these two young players.”
