Champions Top Fry Nakuru inflicted a third defeat to Pan Africa Strathmore Leos, stopping the students 17-6 in a match day 12 encounter at the Impala Club on Saturday.

The Leos started this game brightly, piling the pressure on Nakuru but fell behind when Calvin Otieno went over the chalk, Martin Muita missing the conversion for a 5-0 lead.

Kenny Andola cut the deficit to 5-3 , drilling home a penalty. He would miss another goal attempt from another Nakuru infringement and the Wanyore soon extended the lead, Godfrey Mbeya touching down for a 10-3 score heading into the interval.

Second half saw Nakuru shade the Leos in territory and possession, responding to Andola’s second successful goal attempt with Mbeya landing his brace, Javan Murayi converting for the full time score.

Nakuru failed to garner a bonus point and stayed second on the log with 57 points while the Leos stayed third with 45 points heading into the final round of league phase action next weekend
