The 2025/2026 Kenya Cup and Eric Shirley Shield regular seasons have officially come to an end, with the qualification pathways now clearly defined ahead of the knockout stages. In the Kenya Cup, defending heavyweights Kabras Sugar RFC and KCB Rugby secured direct semi-final slots after finishing first and second respectively. Third-placed Menengai Oilers will face off against Nondescripts RFC, who narrowly sealed sixth place on the final matchday, with the winner advancing to meet KCB in the semi-finals. The other playoff fixture sets up a varsity derby between Strathmore Leos and KU Blak Blad, with the victor earning a date against Kabras Sugar in the semis. Meanwhile, the final round also confirmed the relegation of Kisumu RFC and MMUST RFC to the KRU Championship.

In the Eric Shirley Shield, the top two teams from each conference have progressed directly to the semi-finals, setting up compelling cross-conference clashes. KCB Rugby will take on Kabras Sugar, who finished second in the Western Conference, while Western Conference leaders Menengai Oilers will host Nondescripts RFC, the second-placed side from the Eastern Conference. With the regular season now complete, attention turns to a packed April schedule that will shape the fate of the competitions. Key dates include April 11th for the Enterprise Cup semi-finals and Championship playoffs, April 18th for the Kenya Cup playoffs and Championship semi-finals, and April 25th for the Kenya Cup and Eric Shirley Shield semi-finals, as teams battle for silverware and promotion.
