NAIROBI REGION

As the Universities await the playoffs in March, their counterparts continue with their unfinished pool matches. The clubs carry on with the action this weekend with Stormers hosting second place Sportpesa Quins at Kitengela. The COMRAS and Impala III match is a battle between the fourth and fifth positions separated by five points. COMRAS is fourth with 25 points with the latter having 20 points in their name. Northern Suburbs play Masaku in a venue that will be confirmed in due time.

 

WESTERN REGION

This Saturday the western region will have three matches; Masinde Muliroo hosting Kakamega Welfare in the University’s backyard, Maseno will travel to meet Siaya as Homa bay host second placed Citam Kisumu. Citam are second in the region standings, four points behind Masinde Muliro.

COAST REGION

The weekend’s double headers will be played at Pwani University and Malindi High School. Pwani University will be hosting Shepherds vs Coastal Raiders at 2:00pm followed by the match between Pwani Sharks and Shoxxs RFC at 4:00pm. The second venue will see Technical University of Mombasa match up against the Spartans at 2:00pm followed by Malindi taking on Taita Taveta at 4:00pm.

RIFT VALLEY REGION

Action in this region takes place in three different Moi University Campuses and the Eldoret Sports Club. Moi University Bakita will host the match between Kitale and Molo, Moi Annex welcomes second place Eldoret against eleventh place Kericho while the Moi University West Campus will see KPA Eldoret play the Egerton Wasps. The Eldoret Sports Club will open its gates to Eldoret Falcons who will be taking on the boys from Nakuru KITI.

CENTRAL REGION

Second place MKU Thika hosts the Nanyuki Jackals at the MKU University grounds. A win for the MKU boys could see them go top in the region’s standings although this is dependent on Embu’s performance when they travel down to Ruiru to meet Zetech.Embu are 2 points ahead of MKU Thika in the region. Kiambu RFC will host Murang’a at the NIBS Ruiru grounds as fifth place Dedan Kimathi make the journey to meet hosts Chuka Vikings who are nine points ahead with 29 in total.

*All matches in the Nationwide region will kick off at 3:00pm with an exception of the coast region.*
