The KRU Championship resumed on Saturday 14 January with three of the four fixtures taking place.
Catholic Monks went top of the log after a 29-0 shut out of visiting Mombasa in Karen, relegating previous leaders Resolution Kisii to second place.
Kisii were brought crashing down to earth, their 100% record coming to an end after falling 13-12 to hosts UoE Trojans in Eldoret.
The third fixture on the cards saw USIU stay third with a 24-5 bonus point win away to Kisumu. South Coast Pirates were awarded a 24-0 walkover after Thika failed to travel to Ukunda.
