Resolution Kisii RFC remain top of the championship table courtesy of a 23-17 win over visitors South Coast Pirates at the Gusii Stadium on Saturday.
The Varsity derby in Nairobi saw Catholic Monks snatch the victory from USIU in the dying minutes of the match with a late converted try. USIU were leading 10-5 for the better period of the game until Monks switched up the gears to win the match 12-10.
The journey from Juja to Eldoret was a great outing for the JKUAT Cougars as they had their first win of the season. What had been a heatly contested match ended with hosts Moi University suffering the 7-8 loss to the cougars at full time. For Mombasa the journey wasn’t as fruitful as they fell to University of Eldoret who held on for a 13-10 win over their guests.
The Kisumu Mamboleo Showgrounds saw their boys humble their opponents Thika RFC with a 37-10 at full time. The win has seen Kisumu break their 12 point tie with Thika as they now have 17 points and Thika remaining with their 12 points.
