The KRU Championship continues this weekend with a full compliment of five fixtures slated for Saturday 11 February 2017. Third placed USIU welcome second placed Catholic Monks to Kasarani in what is no doubt the weekend’s highlight fixture. Both teams were uninvolved ilast weekend as USIU, resting while Catholic Monks match was postponed to a later date. The two are separated by four points with Monks sitting second 29 points while USIU third on 25 as the quest for Kenya Cup qualification intensifies.

Leaders Resolution Kisii RFC will host a spirited South Coast Pirates team to the Gusii Stadium. Kisii are top with a total of 36 points off nine matches while Pirates have 23 points gathered from their eight matches so far.

Eldoret will play host to two fixtures.UoE host Mombasa RFC while Moi University hosts JKUAT . University of Eldoret fell short of a victory last weekend at the hands of the South Coast Pirates and this weekend means putting in more effort if they are to outshine Mombasa RFC. The University battle set to take place at Moi University is a battle between the 9th and 10th placed teams. Moi have registered one win in the log while JKUAT need to give it their all if they want to have a win in the league.

Thika RFC will make the six hour journey down to meet hosts Kisumu at the Mamboleo Showgrounds. The two sit at the seventh and sixth position respectively tied at 12 points each. The match will be a tie breaker should there be a winner.
