The KRU Championship league entered match day seven on Saturday 29th January with all six matches taking place in Nairobi, Western and Nyanza regions.
In Nairobi, Shamas Rugby Foundation secured their fourth win of the season after narrowly edging out South Coast Pirates 27-24 at the Ngong Racecourse. Catholic Monks went on with their routine victory as they handed Eldoret RFC a 25-0 beating while Mean Machine beat the Northern Suburbs 34-10 to retain their second position on the table.
In Nyanza, the fixture between Kisumu RFC and Egerton ended in stalemate with a 9-9 score line while Western Bulls beat the USIU Martials 40-17. Kabarak University remain 4th on the log following their 14-6 victory over eighth placed University of Eldoret Trojans.
