Mean Machine and Strathmore Leos will face off this Saturday in the second KRU Championship weekend at the University of Nairobi grounds. Both sides were relegated from the Kenya Cup last season after finishing eleventh and twelve respectively on the log. Strathmore Leos had a great start in their Championship journey while Machine on the other hand started off with a 17-18 loss to the South Coast Pirates in Ukunda.
SC Pirates head to Lang’ata to play Catholic Monks, the latter having lost their first season’s match 5-10 to Mombasa RFC at the Mombasa Sports Club. Northern Suburbs travel to Mombasa in search of a win against Mombasa after falling 7-32 to the Leos last weekend.
Kisii readies for Egerton Wasps, both sides lost their week one matches and will be aiming to redeem themselves with hopefully either side claiming a win. Masinde Muliro University welcome USIU in Kakamega while Eldoret City hosts the Regional derby between Eldoret RFC and University of Eldoret.
