Action in the Nationwide Coast and Rift Valley leagues will begin on Saturday 4 December 2021 with a total of six fixtures across the two regions.
Former Kenya Cup side and 1997 Enterprise Cup champions Mombasa begin their quest to return to the big leagues with a fixture at home to Pwani University as Technical University of Mombasa, losing quarterfinals in last season’s Nationwide national playoffs entertain newcomers Lukenya University. The third fixture from the coast sees Malindi take on the South Coast Buccaneers.
Over in the Rift Valley, Kitale RFC will be looking to get over the disappointment of elimination from the national playoffs when they host newcomers Kitale Polytechnic in a derby clash in Kitale. The other matches see former Championship side Moi University face Molo while Nandi and Nakuru KITI duel in Nandi.
