Leaders Kabras Sugar travel to Nairobi to take on Homeboyz in a Kenya Cup MD4 encounter set for the Jamhuri Park on Saturday 13 January 2024.

The sugarmen have registered three bonus point wins on the trot, sitting top of the standings on 15 points, their most recent outing ending in 78-0 home win over the Catholic Monks on December 16.

Eleventh placed Homeboyz, who are winless in their first three outings, were also on the receiving end of a 77-10 defeat to KCB at Ruaraka the same day and will be out to stem the tide against Kabras.  The last time the two sides met in the Kenya Cup was on 28 January 2023, Kabras winning 57-0 in Kakamega.

Second placed KCB make the short trip to the RFUEA Ground to take on Mwamba. The bankers have won all three of their outings to date, claiming bonus points, most recently in the victory over Homeboyz and face a Mwamba side that is in tenth place, just above the drop zone, having lost all three of their matches to date. This match takes 364 days to the day since their last Kenya Cup meeting, a clash that ended 82-10 to the bankers at the Strathmore Sports Ground.

Over in Kisumu, hosts Kisumu, currently placed ninth on the log are up against Kenyatta University Blak Blad at the Kisumu Polytechnic. The Bravehearts have collected one losing bonus point from their three losses, and will fancy their chances against a Blak Blad side that currently sits fifth on the log with 8 points off a win, a draw and a loss. This is the first Kenya Cup meeting between the two sides since 16 November 2019 when Blad claimed a 31-3 win at the Kenyatta University.

The Catholic Monks and Nondescripts meet in the Kenya Cup for the first time since 15 November 2014 when Nondies claimed a 56-11 win at the Jamhuri Park. The two sides renew their acquaintance for the second time in four months, having faced off at the pre-season Impala Floodies, a match that ended 20-18 in Nondies favor. The Monks are bottom of the log, having had a torrid start to the season, losing 48-8 to Quins, 79-19 to KCB and 78-0 to Kabras Sugar and will be out to get a win over Nondies in the push for Kenya Cup survival. Nondies currently sit eighth on 5 points, having lost their opening two fixtures before defeating Kisumu 32-16 in MD3 action at the RFUEA Ground on 16 December.
