Second placed KCB are up against visiting Western Bulls in Kenya Cup match day six action at the KCB Sports Club, “The Lions Den”, on Saturday 10 December 2016.
The bankers, one of three unbeaten sides in the league (the others being Quins and Kabras), were 31-0 winners over their visitors in the reverse fixture played in Kakamega on Saturday 5 November 2016 and shall be out to not only complete the double over their opponents but maintain their quest for direct semifinal qualification at the close of league play in another eleven or so weeks.
It will be recalled that the Bulls famously held the bankers to a 27-27 last season but are currently nowhere near that kind of form, a series of defeats seeing the Kakamega based side hovering just above the basement. Howard Okwemba’s young charges will have to dig deep and disrupt the bankers’ rhythm early on if they are to leave Nairobi victorious.
