KCB stayed top of the Kenya Cup log with a 49-8 win away to Mean Machine on match day four.

It was Machine who took the lead with an early penalty from Rene Inyanga but the bankers soon found their rhythm, former Mwamba man Nick Ongeri touching down with Kennedy Moseti converting for a 7-3 lead. Moseti would soon ground the ball, Elphas Otieno converting for a 14-3 lead before crossing over the chalk in between Jimmy Kilonzo’s brace and George Asin’s effort as KCB took a 34-3 lead into the break.

With the skies opening up over the UoN grounds, play was a lot slower in the second half, Machine landing an unconverted try but further touch downs from Ian Indimuli, Peter Waitere and Brian Omondi secured the result for KCB who stayed top of the log for a second successive week.
