The Capital City played host to the remaining four fixtures: the early kick off match saw Strathmore Leos beat Homeboyz RFC 30-24 at the RFUEA Grounds. Leos had registered one converted try and one penalty in the first half while the Deejayz had drilled in one penalty for 10-3 score at the breather. Come second half, the Louis Kisia charges got their ducks in a row midway into the second half when they landed two converted tries through Walter Omanyo’s brace with Muita adding the extras. They also drilled in two penalties bringing their tally to 30. Homeboyz on the other hand landed two converted tries in this half as well, for a 30-24 full time score.

The second fixture at this venue pitting Kenya Harlequins against the defending champions KCB, saw Quins start off early with a converted try in the opening minute through Dominic Osino with veteran Eden Agero adding the conversion. Agero extended their lead with a penalty 18 minutes later for a 10-0 score to the hosts.

Both sides would then lose the services of Geoffrey Okwach and Dominic Osino as both players were sent to the sin bin. KCB’s Captain, Curtis Lilako, leading from the front bulldozed his way over the try line to land his side’s first of seven tries with Darwin Mukidza adding the extras.

From this point onwards, it was complete display of why KCB is the Kenya Cup defending champion as they landed try after try. Peter Kilonzo was next on the scoresheet as he landed a corner post try with Mukidza adding the extras.

Half time scores read 10-14 in favour of KCB.

Second half saw KCB land five tries as Isaac Njoroge and Mickey Wanjala both landed a brace each while Samuel Asati went over the whitewash once. Mukidza converting three of these tries for a 10-45 full time score in favour of the Bankers.
