Mombasa keep Championship survival hopes alive

Former Kenya Cup side Mombasa kept their second tier KRU Championship survival hopes alive with a 17-3 victory at home to USIU Martials in a rescheduled fixture at the Mombasa Sports Club on Saturday 8 February 2020.

Following the result, Mombasa are now place 10th on 22 points, two clear of 11th placed Eldoret with three rounds of the regular season still to play.

Mean Machine had earlier defeated Egerton Wasps 18-15 in another rescheduled fixture played on Wednesday 5 February 2020 in Njoro.
