SportPesa Quins will be out to dust themselves after Tuesday’s 39-41 loss to Menengai Cream Homeboyz when they welcome second placed Top Fry Nakuru to the RFUEA Ground for Saturday’s TV game.The Wanyore began their campaign with a 45-15 home win over newcomers Resolution Kisii and will be seek to make it two wins from two as they look to set up a revival platform after a forgettable 2016/17 season that saw them fail to reach the playoffs.
Champions KCB play away to Resolution Kisii at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii County. History will be made when this match gets underway as it will be the first ever Kenya Cup fixture played in the region. KCB warmed up for this encounter with a 27-0 opening day win over the Strathmore Leos.
Fourth placed Kabras Sugar staged a remarkable come back last weekend, rallying from a 5-15 half time deficit to beat Mwamba 29-22 and host the Strathmore Leos at the Kakamega Showground.
Menengai Cream Homeboyz, currently sitting fifth on the log face off with Jamhuri Park roomies Nondescripts while Regional Logistics CFS Mombasa play at home to Blak Blad in a fixture set for Sunday.
