Only one point separates leaders Kiambu from second placed JKUAT Cougars in the Nationwide Central Region league. With both sides boasting five wins from five matches, it is Kiambu who barely have their noses slightly ahead on 24 points, a solitary point ahead of former KRU Championship side JKUAT Cougars.
Embu RFC’s first loss of the season this past weekend has seen them fall off the pace, they lie third on 20 points while MKU Thika Thika are placed fourth on 15 points, two ahead of fifth placed Chuka University. Zetech University are sixth on 11 points.
Meru, Nanyuki, Muranga and Thika round off the both four in Central.
