Leading 8-5 at the break, Menengai Oilers defeated Strathmore Leos 27-10 in match day three action at the Nakuru Showground on Saturday.
Loose forward Jadon Abdon landed an unconverted try to put the Oilers 5-0 ahead before Shem Okola responded with a similar effort for the Leos.
An Abutwalib Wesonga penalty saw Oilers take the 8-5 lead into the break.
Wesonga would then land two conversions from his own touchdown and Ibrahim Ayoo’s try. Beldad Ogeta then landed his sixth try of the season for the Oilers before the Leos got their second try through Richard Liva.
