Previous action between Western Bulls and Resolution Impala Saracens/Photo/Impala Saracens

Out of contention Western Bulls play still in contention Resolution Impala Saracens at the Kakamega High School grounds on Saturday 14 February.

The Bulls lie seventh with 27 points while Impala sit a position above them on the log with 32 points and an outside chance of reaching the semi final playoffs.

Brian Makalama’s Bulls have been in fine form lately, posting three consecutive wins and probably already reflecting on what could have been had they not lost four matches on the trot that put paid to their playoff chances. Echulusi will look to take the game to Impala and will rely on the likes of Davis Chenge, Elkins Musonye, Mike Ligono and co to post a win over their visitors.

Erick Situma’s Impala Saracens are just four points off the last playoff spot with the games running out thick and fast. They make their second trip to Western Kenya in under a month, their last outing in Kakamega seeing them on the wrong end of a 45-27 score line.  They will surely go all out with the key aim of posting a bonus point win to sustain the pressure on Mwamba and Kabras. The Sarries are without Edgar Obino who saw red in last week’s 54-0 win over Catholic Monks. Sammy Oliech is a doubt after limping out injured last weekend but there is still plenty of manpower in the form of David Dinda, George Okowa, Sam Onsomu to name but a few, players who will be relied on to keep the Sarries playoff hopes alive.

This match kicks off at 4.00pm.
