The quest for Kenya Cup survival continues when Mean Machine and Blak Blad meet in an all varsity match day eight fixture at the KCB Sports Club on Saturday 17 January 2015.
The varsity students, currently placed second from bottom come into this encounter looking to build from last weekend’s 43-0 win away to Mombasa by posting another victory that will probably see them climb out of the drop zone.
Blak Blad have won their last two league outings convincingly, bonus point wins over Mombasa and Catholic Monks giving them the relative comfort of eleventh place on the log.
It will however not be lost upon them that any slip us coupled with the chasing trio suddenly hitting a rich vein ofvform could impact negatively on their survival hopes.
Given all that is at stake, this should be an entertaining encounter.
