With only four rounds left in the regular season, Kabras, KCB, Oilers, and Quins have cemented their places in the Top 6 playoffs.

However, the competition intensifies for the remaining two slots.

Currently, Kenyatta University Blak Blad and Nondescripts share the fifth and sixth positions with 14 points each.

While Blad faced a setback against KCB, Nondies secured a crucial 21-20 victory over Strathmore Leos.

The battle for playoff berths also involves Strathmore Leos, Kisumu, Mwamba, and Nakuru, all with a mathematical chance.

Upcoming fixtures will be decisive in shaping the standings.

Blad faces tough challenges against Catholic Monks, Nondescripts, Kabras Sugar, and Homeboyz, while Nondies confront Oilers, Monks, Blad, Nakuru, and Quins. The outcome of these matches on matchday 11 promises to be captivating.

Kisumu’s two valuable points in Nairobi, securing a 16-16 draw against Homeboyz, have boosted their survival hopes and playoff aspirations. Overcoming KCB, Mwamba, Quins, and Strathmore Leos will be crucial for their playoff ambitions.

Despite currently ranking eighth, Strathmore Leos are not yet out of the race for Top 6 playoff qualification. They must deliver strong performances in their final four matches against Mwamba, Homeboyz, Monks, and Kisumu to secure a playoff spot.

Mwamba, after a slow start, have won two consecutive matches and need more victories in their remaining matches against Strathmore Leos, Kisumu, Homeboyz, and Nakuru.

Nakuru’s upcoming matches against Homeboyz, Monks, Nondescripts, and Mwamba are pivotal for their playoff hopes. They must put forth their best efforts in these outings.

Catholic Monks, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, face a tough battle this time around, hovering near the relegation zone. Their upcoming fixtures against Blad, Nondescripts, Nakuru, Strathmore Leos, and Oilers will determine their fate, requiring a series of upset victories to stay in the Kenya Cup.

Homeboyz, winless and at the bottom of the table with four matches remaining, must show resilience to avoid relegation. Their upcoming matches against Nakuru, Strathmore Leos, Mwamba, and Blad are crucial for survival. Failure to secure victories will see the club relegated to the second-tier KRU Championship, after being promoted to the top tier in the 2011/12 season.
