Western Bulls secured a thrilling 13-11 victory against Mean Machine at home, preserving their KRU Championship playoff aspirations with two rounds of regular season fixtures remaining.

The first half of the match ended without any points being scored, but the intensity escalated in the second half.

Kenneth Omaset kicked a penalty ten minutes into the second half, giving Mean Machine a 3-0 lead.

Western Bulls responded with two tries from Gascoigne Muganzi and Efedha Emmanuel, both left unconverted, putting them ahead 10-3 amidst a tense second half.

Omaset and Allan Kasiti exchanged penalties, extending Bulls’ lead to 13-6.

A late unconverted try from James Oluoch narrowed the gap for Mean Machine, concluding the match with a final score of 13-11.
