Catholic Monks’ 20-19 win over Egerton Wasps handed them their sixth-place position up from ninth bringing their total tally at this point to 17. Monks who have had a rather average start to the 2019/2020 season have suffered five losses and secured three wins.
They are tied together with USIU and SC Pirates with 17 points each, the point difference, however, is what separates the three placing them sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.
Eldoret duo of Eldoret RFC and University of Eldoret Trojans dropped to ninth and tenth following the weekend’s outcome.Eldoret’s match against Mombasa RFC was however postponed to a later date in 2020 while the Trojans lost 9-33 to Mean Machine.
The top five positions remain unchanged.
