Defending champions Mwamba, Impala and Nakuru are the early pacesetters in the Women’s League. The trio are tied on 5 points, each having registered bonus point victories in their opening fixtures, though it is Impala who are placed first courtesy of a superior for/against difference.
Impala, who were not in action this past weekend, started their campaign with a 70-0 win over newcomers Western Spears on Saturday 3 December.
The Kakamega based Spears suffered a second successive defeat, losing 0-50 at home to Mwamba on Saturday 10 December.
Nakuru are third after defeating Maseno University 43-0 in their opening fixture, also played on Saturday 3 December.
