The fixtures get interesting as we head into Kenya Cup match day three.

Catholic Monks v Mean Machine | Catholic University | 4pm

There is another all varsity clash when Catholic Monks and Mean Machine battle at CUEA. The two sides were promoted to this season’s league, and are no strangers to each other, having clashed in the final of last season’s championship. They have both lost their opening two matches and their battle on Saturday is one to be closely fought. It may be a bottom of the table clash, but it is one worth watching.

Kabras Sugar v Kenya Harlequin | Kakamega Showground | 3pm

Defending champions Kabras Sugar are at home to Kenya Harlequin. The two sides are enjoying contrasting form, Kabras with two wins from two and in the top three but Quins, placed second from bottom, winless after their opening two games.  These two sides met in pre season action about three weeks ago, Quins winning  35-24 and Kabras will be out to avenge that result and stay in the leading pack as the league progresses.

Menengai Oilers v Masinde Muliro | Nakuru Showground | 4pm

Menengai Oilers are having a great start to the season and that is why they are top of the table. They will be out to remain unbeaten by being ruthlessly efficient when they host a Masinde Muliro side that is smarting from two losses on the bounce and whose coach John Asila is keen to improve their approach to the setpiece as the season progresses.

KCB v Homeboyz |KCB Sports Club | 4pm

KCB against Homeboyz is undoubtedly the clash of the round. KCB lie second after two outings and are yet to concede a point after winning both their fixtures in emphatic fashion.

Homeboyz, wow! what a season they are having. Remember they rescinded their decision to pull out of the league and have claimed two scalps in Mwamba and Strathmore Leos. The underdog tag should suit them just well as they visit Ruaraka.

Nakuru v Strathmore Leos | Nakuru Athletic Club | 4pm

Nakuru have had an indifferent start to the season, winless after two games and they host a Strathmore side that is smarting from last weekend’s defeat to Homeboyz.

Mwamba v Blak Blad | Strathmore University | 4pm

Mwamba will be out to break Blak Blad’s unbeaten record as they do battle on match day three. Recent clashes between the two sides have been competitive and Saturday’s shouldn’t be any different.
