Top Fry Nakuru and Resolution Impala Saracens face off in match day 14 action at the Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday afternoon.

While the Sarries have probably done enough to secure a Top Six playoff berth with four rounds of the regular season to play, it is still touch and go for the sixth placed Wanyore, they cannot afford any further slip ups in what has been a start-stop season for the 2013/14 champions, not with seventh Mwamba breathing down their necks.

Enos Otieno’s Nakuru side were last in action on February 18, falling to a 33-14 loss away to SportPesa Quins and must bounce back immediately. Otieno will once again count on winger George Adongo to deliver the tries. Adongo, younger brother of former Kenya international Teddy Omondi is the side’s top try scorer with six tries. Geoff Ominde is also expected to play a pivotal role in the clash as is the exciting backrow triumvirate of Edwin Makori, Monate Akuwei and Dallo Chituyi.

The Sarries, fifth on the log,  played their rescheduled fixture against Nondescripts last weekend, winning 24-7 and will be keen on maintaining their winning form. Sammy Motari put in a standout performance last weekend against Nondies and is once again in midfield alongside Anthony Nyandigisi.
