Former Simbas skipper Wilson Kopondo makes his first Kenya Cup appearance in over a year, starting at lock when his SportPesa Quins side play away to Mean Machine in Kenya Cup match day 14 action at the University of Nairobi ground.
Kopondo sustained a neck injury during Kenya’s 46-13 Africa Cup away to Namibia on Saturday 8 August 2015 and missed the entire 2015/16 domestic and international season. He slots into second row alongside Roxy Suchi.
Patrice Agunda captains the side in the absence of Tony Mutai.
