Western Bulls confirmed their spot in the KRU Championship playoffs with a 19-8 win over Daystar Falcons in the early kickoff at the Kakamega Showground on Saturday 9 March 2024.
Daystar’s Trevor Opondo and Bulls’ Allan Kasiti traded unconverted tries to see the match tied 5-5 before an Eddy Wambugu penalty put the visitors 8-5 ahead.
Dan Kibet would then convert Elvis Waka’s try to see Bulls lead for the first time in this game, the scores 12-8 in their favor before being awarded a penalty try as the visitors finished with 14 men following Clinton Amukwachi’s red card for dangerous play.
