Nondescripts closed out the regular season with a 21-13 victory over Kenya Harlequin at the RFUEA Ground, a result that not only saw them claim Ngong Road derby bragging rights but more importantly book a place in the quarterfinal playoffs.
Nondies winger Nyaenya Moseti and Quins flyhalf Evin Asena traded penalties to see the match tied 6-6 early on before Asena’s conversion from Leonard Fogang’s try gave Quins the 13-6 lead at the interval.
Sankara Wafula’s try and Moseti’s conversion brought Nondies level before Dominic Osino returned to haunt his former club, landing a try and a drop goal to seal the result for Nondies.
The win takes Nondies to 31 points, a tally that cannot be reached by Mwamba (24 pts), Strathmore Leos (20 pts) and Kenyatta University Blak Blad (19pts)
