Masinde Muliro University bounced back to their winning ways with a 26-12 win over Northern Suburbs to retain their second-place position, eight points behind Championship favorites, Strathmore Leos.

The Leos benefited from a walkover as opponents Kisii RFC were unable to honor the fixture, Leos bagging the five points to maintain the lead on the Championship log. A seven point difference secured the South Coast Pirates win over USIU Martials beating them 17-10  while Mean Machine went all out in their encounter against UoE Trojans beating them 33-9.

Catholic Monks narrowly edged the Egerton Wasps beating them 20-19 at the Catholic University grounds while the fixture pitting Mombasa RFC against Eldoret RFC was postponed to a later date.

The two Nationwide fixtures played today saw Ngong RFC and Dagoretti Bulldogs emerge victorious with their 29-5 and 18-6 wins over opponents Stormers RFC and Hurricanes respectively.
